The brand has been in the industry for more than 60 years, and its products have been previously approved by the International Tennis Federation, the Indonesia Badminton Association and the Badminton World Federation. All GOSEN strings and Ryoga series racquet shafts are made in Japan.

Top players such as Rod Laver, Jimmy Connors, Chris Evert Lloyd, C. Martinez and Anna Kournikova have also previously used and promoted this brand.

 
 


VICTOR is a Taiwanese company that specialises in badminton goods. The company was found in 1980 and focused their research and development on badminton racquets. Throughout the 20th century, VICTOR expanded into areas of shoes, apparels, shuttlecocks and now have products which cover the entire range of available badminton sporting equipment. VICTOR products are generally made in Taiwan and China.

Today, VICTOR sponsors many international badminton competitions and high profile players and support national teams. Players such as Lee Yong Dae, Jung Jae Sung, Cheng Wen Hsing, Tai Tzu Ying and Nguyen Tien Minh are some of the many players that are sponsored by VICTOR.

 
 


YONEX is a Japanese company that manufacters badminton, golf and tennis sporting equipment. The company was found in 1946 and holds the biggest market share for badminton goods around the world. In badminton, YONEX manufactuers all badminton products, from racquets to shuttlecocks, from strings to shoes, bags and socks. All high end YONEX racquets are made in Japan, with middle and entry level racquets coming from Taiwan and China. 

The company sponsors a majority of badminton players around the world, and sponsors many major competitions such as the prestigious All England Open Badminton Championships.

Although there are many different codes for YONEX products around the world, the company has never officially announced any differences of quality between the countries. 

 
 


AEROPLANE is a series of shuttlecocks that are manufactured by the Shanghai Badminton Factory in China. The first AEROPLANE shuttle was produced in China in 1960 and have been used in international competitions. Currently in Australia, the most popular models of their products are the AEROPLANE Black and Green label shuttlecocks.
 
 


ASHAWAY is an American company that manufacter strings for various racquet sport products. The company was first found in 1824, and at the time, focused on manufacturing fishing line. In the 19th Century, the company began to focus on racquet strings and have since increased their popularity in the badminton and squash string markets.
 
 


LI-NING is a Chinese company that manufactures various sporting goods and apparels. The company was found in 1990 and has developed partnerships with companies such as AIGLE and ACQUITY GROUP.

In badminton, LI-NING sponsors the Chinese international competitions, the Chinese and Singpoare national team and world class players such as Lin Dan and Chen Jin.
